We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a worldwide operating automotive supplier and the world's largest producer of wiring harnesses, a :

Process Engineer:

Reporting to the Team Lead your main responsibilities will be :

  • Establish the planning schedule for the deployment of new improvement projects on the model line
  • Establish and follow the action plan for the implementation of new continuous improvement projects.
  • Monitor and improve performance indicators for the model line.
  • Prepare the OPS review report
  • Analyze the manufacturing data : drawing , BOM , BOL , RR
  • Prepare work subdivison according the needed operators & following YEL rules
  • Design of subassemblies based on product complexity
  • Prepare list of needed equipement per line
  • Prepare the production line : line set up
  • Prepare line documentations
  • Pilot & conduct Run & Rate activities
  • Prepare the 1st draft of routing report and ensure the update.
  • Ensure balancing between workstations.
  • Take timing on the identified lines and communicate the progress of each line.
  • Propose and install improvements to increase out put.
  • Manage the process concept definition in the factory & ensure the implementation of best practices In the new definitions.
  • Reliability of the database of the times relative to each process in coordination with SAP team.
  • Ensure the implementation of the correct method of quantifying ECR's.
  • Actively contribute to the enrichment of the PFMEA.
  • Propose improvements and implement them on PFMEA.

Profil recherché

Key Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Graduate of an engineering school or equivalent, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or electromechanical engineering or one year of experience in a similar position.
